The 1990's saw the notion of DJ as recording artist gain acceptance with mainstream pop audiences. In 1989's Dymaxion, Grizzled Greedigut was already fully involved with cut, paste, and looping of existing audio tracks. Programmed drum machine patterns, layered repetitive synth melodies and sampled vocals blend to create hypnotic sound collages. The word "Dymaxion" is Buckminster Fuller's principle of "maximum advantage from minimum expenditure of effort", which is a fitting theme for electronic music composition leading into the 1990's, where the playing of instruments is replaced by the pressing the start button on a variety of pre-programmed music-making machines.

By 1992, The Artist Never Really Known as Grizzled Greedigut was creating more complex, brooding compositions culminating in the release of Spectral Voices On Tape Phenomena. In "Spectral Voices...", Greedigut replaces the dance oriented thumping of "Dymaxion" with more organic, jazz, rock and spagetti western inspired rhythms.

This page illustrates the how images can be manually positioned over text areas to create a collage effect. A page container centers the two text areas and provides the capability of framing the page with multiple backgrounds. The text areas demonstrate how standard html formatting can be used within the text areas: In this case two columns are created using a 2 - column html TABLE structure. Image files are embedded within the text areas using a standard html IMG tag.
